A grave short & company diamant balance

A diamond scales made by ‘de grave, short & company, london england c. 1860. All the original weights are present. The round pans are copper and the balance beam is steel. The makers name is printed on a label that covers the inside lid of the scales and provides tables to “calculate the value of any weight of diamonds.” 14,5 x 8 x 3 cm.
