A nice nineteen century 4 blade vaginal speculum with crosshatched ebony handles and made by Charriere, Circa 1855.  Good condition and signed on the handles and blades. A retaining screw fixes the blades in an open position. On the screw you see a scale from 7 till 30 which give an explanation how far the speculum is open. Length 24 cm
