A pocket microscope from the mid 19th cenutry, made in France, in original case. Possible made by Bertrand. The instrument retains about the original lacquer finish with some tarnish on the surface. Double screw objective, build-in stage specimens holders, jointed pillar/base and concave silvered mirror. The instrument works well and is stored inside its original wooden case, leather covered and velvet & silk lined. measurements box 13 x 5 x4,5 cm
