Luër surgical set, c. 1880

A big surgical set by Luer a Paris of the c. 1880’s . All the original instruments (except some forceps) are present in two drawers, including a fine amputation saw with extra blade. Note the placement of the opposing amputation knives, which is typical of French surgery kits. The box belongs Doctor CH. Renner and got the original handles and hinges.
