Model of a water wheel
On application
A water wheel is a means of extracting power from the flow (or fall) of water, otherwise known as hydropower. There are several types, our model is a horizontal wheel. That means that a jet of water is directed, from the fall, on to the paddles of the water wheel, causing them to turn. Our tin miniature model is signed ‘dr. Pleskot a spol, vedeche a technicke pristroje . Praga.’ and was used to teach pupils at the ‘zakladni devitileta skola’. Meas. 32h x 26l x 15cm b.
