This dr. Auzoux eye model shows the eye in cross-section 1849. The striking thing about this model is that they make use of glass, papier mache and steel wire. Apart from the components of the eye, a portion of the eye socket with some facial muscles is visible. Signed auzoux doct. Fecit anno 1849. The signature is particularly rare. It presents always the signature of dr. Auzoux before he died in 1880. Good conserved and a fresh colour
