An Allen & Hanburry’s Anthropometer compass is an extremely versatile instrument suitable for measuring nearly any linear dimension of the human body. The Anthropometer compass has an engraved scale from 0 to 18 with a unit length of an inch. At the end of the kompass legs is a brass bknob and is signed with Allen & Hanburry’s-London on the legs. In good condition and dating from around 1880, length 34 cm.
