An Andreas Vogler Equinoctial octogonal sundial in original leder covered case. The instrument was made between 1766 and 1800 in Augsburg, Germany. The sundial is signed with follow inscriptions:
Andreas VOGLER’s signature abbreviated “And. Vogl”.
Eleva Poli = Elevatio Poliarum (latitude of cities)
Augsburg Paris 48, Cracau (Kracow), Prag (Prague) 50, Leipzig 51
The sundial is in good condition and the dimension of the case are 6,5 x 6,5 x 2 cm
