An cased artificial leech with a pump system and a polished metal syringe with a round knife to put on the vein. It is a polished syringe with a cutting round blade with a diameter of 6 mm. The depth of the cutting blade is determined by a screw able tube ring. After the vein has been opened, the blood can be pumped from the vein of the wrist by the syringe or by creating a vacuum with the artificial leech. Dimensions case with red velvet and silk inside is 15 x 8 x 3,5 cm. Dated circa 1880-1890.
