Ceramic Barber-Surgeon bowl

A first half 19th Century Ceramic Barber-Surgeon bowl. A lovely ceramic transfer ware barber’s bowl which was used for shaving and could also have been used as a bleeding bowl. There is a cutout for the neck. Is marked as “M C …” on the bottom of the bowl.
In good condition. Measurements 27 x 22 x 7 cm.
