A gradle corneo scleral trephine in original case, c 1900. Signed: made by f. A. Hardy & co., chicago-new york. The instrument creates a drainage hole through the corneoscleral junction into the anterior chamber to allow the outflow of aqueous humor into the subconjunctival vasculature and lymphatics. Used in the treatment of glaucoma. In perfect condition and dimensions case 7.5 x 6 x 2.5 cm
