Human scafocefalie skull, c 1800-1850
Sold
A human scafocefalie skull. It is a congenital defect that is based on a premature conclusion of that arrow seam. The skull to grow further in for- backward direction (not in width), hence his long form.
It is a grave rest, from dutch soil. Probably around 1880-1900 excavated because at that time cemeteries were cleared because of urban expansion and population growth.
