Colliding balls or “percusion apparatus”. Five ivory balls hanging on a mahogany frame. A number of them are moved to the left and subsequently released to collide with the other balls. Circa 1900 the number of balls leaving the row on the right will be the same as the number of balls that where released. Measurements 50 x 33 x 58 cm.
