A French pewter leech carrier, (Pot a Sangsues), circa 1770. There 3 hallmarks at the bottom. The doctors used this carrier by the patient rounds. The lid is perforated so as to allow the leeches to breathe.In good condition, diameter 8,5 cm and 15,5 cm high.
