A boxwood container (diam. 3.5cm) containing a impression of anthony van leeuwenhoek’s signet ring. At the bottom off the little box handwritten provenance; ‘zegelafdruk v/h handringetje van ant. V. Leeuwenhoek, in possesion off mevr. A vosmaer-Roëll te leiden’.
