Large model microscope in original mahogany box with key by “NACHET ET FILS, 17, rue St Séverin, Parisâ€, Circa  1875. Original lacquer is still present and in good condition. The instrument comes with several eyepieces and two objectives . This microscope is illustrated by figure 2 in the 1872 and 1881 Nachet catalogues. The signature dates this example before 1881. Original mahogany box with key, 21 x 32 x 12 cm, instrument height: 35 cm.
