Oger scarificator with sixteen lancets, 19th c
On application
A 19th century brass scarficator with sixteen lancets, signed ‘Oger’. The scarificator comes with its original Marocco leather covered box which can be secured by a hook. On the inner side a red velour. The grid of has two burst of which one severe and one less. This is the weakest point of the scarificator. When pressed on the skin of patients this would be the first part to break. However, nothing is missing about this plane and the grid is in full tact with only two stems slightly bending inwards.
Box measurements: 7,5 x 5,5 x 7,5 cm.
