20th century set of faux tortoise shell auricles

A pair of early celluloid faux tortoise shell auricles, early 20th century. The auricles should be secured over the head by a telescopic metal headband connecting the two but this one is missing. One piece is signed outside the bell of the auricle “audios, marque depot with an imprint of an ear”
