Third century Roman defolation tweezers used for hair removals Roman Romans were meticulous when it came to cleanliness, and the elimination of all body hair formed an integral aspect of their grooming routine. This pair of 5,5 cm was used for this purpose. Also smaller silver and bronze examples are known.
In a exhibition at Wroxeter n Shrophisre, England, 50 pairs of tweezers where featured. CNN made an article about the exhibition.
