A touron, paris dental scaling set, c 1830. At the beginning of the 19th c. People who cared about their teeth often carried these personal pocket scaling sets with them. This greenleather case contains nine, interplacable, metal implements and a ivory handle. These scalers were used for removing the tartar on the teeth. This set has a small mirror in the lid. Dimension 7,5 x 6 x 2cm.
