Two spring mushrooms

These models were made in the early 20th c. To instruct the people which mushrooms were poisonous and which were eatable. Carefully constructed after nature and very realistic concerning design and accuracy. Our plaster ‘morchella’ models are polychrome painted. The stages of development are visialized in three mushrooms, placed upon a wooden board sized 15x15cm, the height is 18cm in total. The printed description in german, with original stamp ‘schule zu niederlungwitz’, of these tasty morels, are glued under the base.
